Japanese adults and children go crazy for Manga, the comic book genre that’s helped put Japan on the map. Manga style has been used to package everything from the Bible to the periodic table. Now its reach has extended to matters of life and death, as Japanese company Kokuyo has put out a Manga last will and testament kit.
The kit features three different examples for the preparer to follow: a young couple with children, a married couple with aging parents, and an older couple with adult children. The preparer is guided through the comic-style panels explaining the process by a spirited white-haired man. The character explains estate planning, bequests, and allocation in an accessible way through simple steps.
The notebook-style package includes four will template papers, two drafts, one storage card, a non-resealable envelope and practice paper. It’s also affordable at only $25.
